He is currently working on writing and recording his debut solo album, which will contain a diverse amount of stylistic elements. Mark has a natural tendency for unique and fresh ideas in his compositional approach, utilizing a lot of exotic scales and odd-meters within his work. Mark is also quite adapt at improvising over advanced altered dominant chord sonorities. He has studied music for a considerable amount of time through private lessons, College, and self studies with Ted Greene and John Mehagan Jazz books. He has played in various bands, including some of which included his brother on Bass.

Mark continues to study hard, constantly working to expand his knowledge of music. He recently began putting together a resource of Indian and other exotic scale / chord relationship information, which could very well turn into a published work some time in the future.
